Rob Coleman -
The 3000 Mile Row

Rob Coleman is a stand up comic. For the last twelve years or so he's been driving all over the country trying to make people laugh for money.

In late 2018 and early 2019, however, he took time out to row across the Atlantic, and he and his crew mates ended up with a world record.

How on earth did that happen? How did a 54 year old, with minimal rowing experience, come to row 3000 miles across one of the most inhospitable places on the planet and live to tell the tale?
Join Rob for an hour of adventure on the high seas and discover how to spend 51 days in a rowing boat without murdering your crew mates. Explore the rigours of every day life on a 29' x 7' rowing boat, how to go to the loo in a force 7, and whether hot weather really does make jelly babies frisky.

How did Kylie Minogue play a pivotal role in Rob's success? Is he a changed man?

It's a tale of blisters, sleep deprivation, amazing wildlife and some pretty stunning night skies. And an awful lot of water.

The 3000 Mile Row is a true story about one man's attainment of his lifetime's ambition, and how in the end an ocean row is actually mostly just admin.
